Construction of fireplace in Guilan province
Building a brick fireplace with refractory bricks is a multi-step process that requires high precision and skill. In the following, we will examine this process step by step so that you can proceed with the construction of this type of fireplace with sufficient knowledge and skill:
the first stage; Choosing the right place to build a fireplace Choosing the right place to build a fireplace is one of the most important steps in this process. The fireplace should be placed in a place that is accessible and usable, and also approved in terms of safety. Usually, fireplaces are placed in reception rooms, main halls or similar spaces so that they can transfer the desired heat to the interior, however, it is necessary to pay attention to these points:
the second stage; After choosing the right place, the stage of designing and drawing the fireplace begins. At this stage, the dimensions of the fireplace, the height of the chimney, the type and thickness of the bricks used, and other technical specifications must be precisely specified. Also, special attention should be paid to safety issues and related standards. Firebricks with dimensions of 5.5*10*20 and 5*10*22 are usually used to make brick fireplaces.
The brick fireplace design is divided into two parts: the floor, body and chimney of the fireplace. You can use a variety of refractory bricks for each of these sections.
For example, for the body of the fireplace, the best option is to use complete fireproof bricks, for the edges of the fireplace, you can use fireproof bricks, and for the front of the fireplace, it is better to use fireproof plaques in different colors according to the interior decoration. .
The third stage; After preparing the place and drawing the map, the stage of flooring and underlayment of the fireplace begins. At this stage, the floor of the fireplace must be leveled and prepared so that the main skeleton of the fireplace can be built on it. It should also be noted that at this stage, the necessary infrastructure for installing the chimney and connecting it to the fireplace should also be done.
The fourth stage; After that, the implementation of the fireplace body begins. At this stage, using refractory bricks and special mortar, the body of the fireplace should be built layer by layer and with complete strength and safety. It is very important to pay attention to technical and executive details at this stage.
Since the installation of refractory bricks in the fireplace is done with mortar, you can use normal cement mortar or refractory cement.
The fifth stage; After the fireplace body is finished, the chimney installation stage begins. The chimney should be installed in a standard way using heat-resistant materials so that it can direct the smoke and gases from the fuel to the outside of the building. At this stage, special attention should be paid to safety points and compliance with relevant standards.
